The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gertrude Templeton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Dear Carol and Jim, Larry and I send you our sincerest condolences on the passing of your dear mom, Gertie. Gertie was not only a.dear friend but taught our children in their early years. Carol, I'm not sure if you remember this but I do. Our family had not been in Holland long but along came your sixth birthday. I was so happy to be invited to my first birthday party! I'm sure that somehow your mom made sure I received that invitation. She touched so many lives over the years. I know you and Jim will miss her dearly as well as your brother Jim and his family.
