The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carolynne Reed can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Welsh Friend

I worked with Lynne for many years. My wife, Eleanor, also knew Lynne through my work plus through her own place of work. We both have may great memories. Lynne was one of the first police dispatchers I ever had the honour of working with. She would always translate my first name into the Welsh dialect and that is what she always called me. She even did right up until the last time I saw her. Lynne deeply cared for the citizens of Brandon that she dealt with in her work role. She also deeply cared and protected each and every police officer out there on the front line. She loved her job, she loved her association with the Brandon Police Service and loved it so much she came back to work after retirement on a part time basis. One of her favourite sayings was "Hello Luv" and in saying it you knew she cared about you and had your back at work. The love and pride for her family was always ever present. I wish to express my condolences to Lynne's family from her BPS family. I am sorry to not have shared a story sooner but we were out of the country at Lynne's passing and just got back.
