Obituary for Victor Percival Baldock

Victor Percival Baldock
On Wednesday, August 9, 2017, Victor P. Baldock passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Born July 28, 1925, Victor was raised in Middle Church, and left to join the Airforce to train as a navigator in WWII. Returning from PEI, he worked for Manitoba Hydro and retired in Killarney. Upon retirement, Victor moved to Winnipeg, then Traverse Bay and finally Brandon to be closer to his family. Always looking for new challenges, Victor raised honey bees and sheep. When not at work, he was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing but his greatest love was aviation and ham radios. Victor will be sadly missed by daughter Pennie; son Pat (Carol); granddaughters Tamarah and Carriann and great-granddaughters Zara and Rayna. He was predeceased by his first wife Edith, long time wife Margaret Susan (Mills), years later Peggy Glover as well as his siblings. Victor will be laid to rest at Sprague Cemetery with Margaret in a private ceremony at a later date. Donations in memory of Victor may be made to the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum, Box 3, Group 520, RR#5, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 5Y5.
