Happier times
I would like to share a happy memory regarding both Heather and her late husband, Vern. When I was maybe 10 years old I stayed with them overnight at Heather's parent's place. I do not recall where they were however Heather, Vern and I had the house to ourselves.
It may seem silly but Vern and I were having a water fight outside which eventually continued in the house. It was such fun and Heather took it all in stride, cleaning up our mess as we went. (it was just water!) They shared a fun-spirited love between them and as a 10 year old, I saw that as something to aspire to. I have thought of this memory often, those formative years that create memories to carry with us throughout our lives.
She will be sadly missed. My heart goes out to you Lisa, Todd and family,
