The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marion Ewasiuk can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Barry and I wanted to pass on our condolences to Marion's family.
Our brother Gordon McEachen was a good friend to both Marion and Peter.
We shared many cups of coffee at the local coffee shop with both of these kind people.

Condolence From: Nanette Forman
Condolence: Marion and I were cousins and grew up in Rivers Manitoba. I remember being at Uncle and Auntie's house when Marion would be getting ready to go out dancing with her friend Millie. She loved to get dressed up in a fancy dress and put on her make-up.

She didn't always have an easy life but she met all challenges and raised 3 children. She always had a very close relationship with her Mother and she and Pete always took Auntie along on their many holiday trips.

Whenever I got back to Manitoba I would get in touch and we would all go out for lunch and catch up.

My thoughts are with Heather,Terry and Michael and the rest of the family. Nanette

Condolence: Marion's mother, Ellen Melinchuk and my mother, Minnie Forman were sisters. Marion was my cousin. Our families were very close when I was a child growing up in Rivers, Manitoba. When I grew up and moved away from the area, I kept in touch with Marion over the years. She was always so happy to hear from me. I will miss her! I offer my condolences to Michael, Terry and Heather.

Condolence: Marion's mother , Ellen Melinchuk and my mother, Minnie Forman were sisters and both lived most of their lives in Rivers, Manitoba so as cousins, we have been close to Marion our entire lives. She babysat us five Forman children and we spent many happy hours at their home in our growing up years. We visited Marion and Pete regularly when we lived in Manitoba and since we moved to BC, have seen her whenever we have gone home. Marion and I have spent many long hours over the phone reminiscing about family and friends while she was in personal care and she always kept a positive attitude in spite of her hardships over the last while. I think of the very special relationship she had with her mom for so many years , her love for her children and her devotion to the church. Gerry and I would like to send condolences to the family.
