Obituary for
Vernon "Bud" Eamer
EAMER: Vernon Delbert "Bud" Eamer, of Brandon, Manitoba, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the age of 81 years. Bud will be missed by family and by the many friends he made over the years while playing and coaching hockey, curling and going to the Briers, travelling, camping, and fishing in Canada and the U.S.; going to hockey games and yard sales. Bud was a plumber by trade, and was ready and willing when family and friends needed a helping hand. Bud is survived by his son Bob (Jacquie), son Rick (Marilyn) and granddaughter Krista (Joe), daughter-in-law Brenda, grandchildren Ryan (Laura), Melanie (Clayton) and great-grandchildren Natalya and Ethan, sister Doreen and nieces, Kim, Terri-Lyn, and Lori, daughter-in-law, Lois, and the Smiths and Pringle family. Bud was predeceased by his wife, Bernice, son Ron, and his parents, Charlie and Aggie. The family would like to thank the many friends and neighbours for their kindness to Bud and to our family, and thank you to everyone who was able to attend the memorial service at Memories Chapel, on Thursday, April 9, 2015. A special thank you to Dr. du Plooy, Dr. Moller, and the nurses and staff of Western Manitoba Cancer Centre, and to Dr. Davis and the nurses and staff of 3rd floor Palliative Care, Assiniboine Centre.
