After returning to Brandon, he was employed at CFB Shilo as a painter until his retirement in the early 1990s. Peter was ambitious, having his own home painting business. A proud member of ANAF in Brandon, Peter also was an avid gardener and loved animals. He lived his last 15 years at Hillcrest and thoroughly enjoyed the days when the home had dogs visit. He always made sure he had doggie treats. Peter will be remembered for his generous smile, feisty spirit and charming personality.
