Condolence From: Wendy Scott-Guest
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Lois' passing, she was one on my mother's (Lorna Scott) best friends! Oh, the laughter that would fill the house when she and Bob visited ours. Such a wonderful personality.

Condolence From: Donna Bennett & family
Condolence: Lois will continue to be part of our lives with the memories she has made. I think about her when I am in the garden especially when the peonies are blooming. I have recipe books from her that I use regularily and the Christmas cake recipe I use is from Jim and Gail's wedding cake. Her memory lives on in our home

Condolence: My thoughts are with all of the Carkener family during this time of loss and remembrance. Remember well growing up in the best part of Brandon; the East End, and well familiar with the Carkener family. Had the privilege of reconnecting with Lois in recent years with her tireless volunteering for Brandon causes and of course with the East End Community Centre. Lois was truly one of the East End icons and she will most certainly be missed by many in Brandon that knew her and was helped by her.

Condolence: Carkener Family

Sorry for your loss. I first met Lois as a young cadet in St Johns Ambulance. She lived down the hall from my Mum in the Westman Senior Co op and we would have a visit whenever I was there. She will be missed.
