Obituary for Ethel Marguerite Bell

Ethel Marguerite Bell
In Loving Memory of Ethel Marguerite Bell (nee Moslin) November 10, 1925 – June 15, 2018. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ethel, beloved Mother and Grandmother, on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, surrounded by her family. Ethel is loving remembered by son Frank and daughter-in-law Jonena, daughter Marilyn and grandson Adam (Stephanie Parkin). Ethel was married to Bill for 58 years who predeceased her in 2002. She is survived by sister Roberta (John) Kozak, brother-in-law Dave (Joanne) Bell, sister-in-law Betty (Ron) LeBlanc, brother-in-law Ken Surette and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Ethel and father Frank, brother Jim and sister Ellen. Ethel was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan, and moved to Brandon as a teenager where she meet her husband Bill at the Prince Edward Hotel where they both worked. She enjoyed her work as an X-Ray Technician and Instructor working at hospitals and clinics in Brandon. Ethel loved spending time with her husband and family at the Clear Lake cabin and travelling in their motor home to various locations in Canada and the USA. After retiring Ethel and Bill moved to Winnipeg to be near her daughter and son’s family. In later years she spent many enjoyable hours watching her favorite baseball team, the Blue Jays, curling and of course her game shows on television. Mom loved chatting to people, listening about their lives and families. She was always interested in hearing how they were doing. The celebration of Ethel’s life took place at Memories Chapel on Friday, July 6, 2018. A reception followed. Ethel was laid to rest at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Ethel may be made to Diabetes Canada Unit A1 – 800 Rosser Avenue Brandon, Manitoba R7A 6N5.
