Condolence: We wanted to share our condolences with Ben's family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

Condolence: I was so sorry to read of Preben's death on Brandon Sun Online, Shirley. I have so many good memories of you both and of your kindness to us in the old days. Ben was a fine man, always a gentleman, but also a happy, fun-loving man, I think. I will be thinking of you in the days and weeks ahead, knowing how long you had been together. God bless you as you learn to go on without him.

Condolence: Shirley and your entire family -- Our sincerest condolences on the passing a most wonderful, kind-hearted gentleman. Ben captured our hearts when we first met him at the Winesense store as he treated us and all who passed through the doors with his fullest attention, respect, and his disarming sense of humour. He was ready to give support and advice to us "rookies" and was instrumental in encouraging us to achieve success. When in Brandon we would often stop in just to see him and his co-workers even if we had no purchase in mind. I know your sorrow at this time is immense but it helps to think of all those splendid times and memories you shared together. He was one of a kind that will forever remain in our hearts and thoughts. Stay strong, Shirley. Our visits will continue.

Condolence: Shirley, DJ, and family: Shortly after I received t=he devastating news from Dayna, I was overwhelmed by a flood of warm memories of Ben and the times we shared. Our friendship covered almost 50 years. I shall always remember with great fondness the fun and times we shared in the press box at Wheat King games like the times Ben lightened the mood in the box with his liquor-filled chocolates when he worked with Old Dutch or our chats on the phone after I moved. My fondest wish for you is that time will be the great healer. It cannot erase the beautiful memories we hold of Ben. But it can ease the pain of his loss My most sincere condolences
