Condolences

Condolence From: Dr. Brian Harvey
Condolence: Percy was a student of mine at Grand Prairie School, Boggy Creek in 1964. His classroom was Grades 5 to 8; "peer tutoring" was not yet in vogue, but that was essentially what we did. Everybody helped each other out. Percy was a gentle gem who prided himself on passing on his knowledge---he was especially pleased to share with classmates the fact that the premier, Duff Roblin, was named after the town of Roblin, just south of Boggy Creek. Sad to hear of his passing, and it sounds like he had a very impactful and joyful life.

Condolence: I am very sorry to hear of Percy's passing. Although we met very infrequently Percy was my cousin whom I loved and honored. I last saw him at his dad's funeral, my Uncle Herman and Percy welcomed me with words of warmth and kindness. He will always be remembered by me as a warm and loving relative. My condolences to all of Percy's next of kin and close friends.

Condolence: I met Percy some 36years ago. He always stopped to talk to me and tell me stories. He nicknamed me and others Money bags! I will miss seeing you around and hope you find eternal peace and endless supplies of cans.

Condolence: I met Percy 30 years ago and what an incredible man he was. Percy was so full of life. Very quickly Percy became a part of our lives. We built a friendship with him and honestly he was more like family. Often one of our family members who stop and bless him with a visit, money, coffee, cigarettes, pop cans. My Mom took Percy under her wing and made sure that he always had a few dollars in his pocket. Even in her last days she would scold us and remind us to look out for Percy.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Percy's passing. To his family, Percy truly was an incredible person. I am honored to call him a friend and a member of my family. I have so many wonderful memories of him. Your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Rest in Peace Ya Ol'Duck!!! Always remembered and never forgotten!
