The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gwelda "Maxine" Rose can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Rob, Ken and Family: I was so sad to hear of Maxine's injury and passing. We enjoyed many years of working together at BGH....the fun was endless and the two of us managed to get into trouble many times. We even entered the "Beard Growing Contest" during Centennial and won a prize! Her "Maxine" cartoons on her desk were endless. I remember the day she retired and how empty the office felt. Maxine was one of a kind and will be dearly missed.
