Peacefully, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, Brian Edward Gibbs, passed away in Brandon at the age of 48 years. He was born September 8, 1969 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Any memory of Brian involves his humour, his intelligence and his willingness to help any that asked. Left to remember his quiet strength, infectious grin and sardonic wit are his brother Joey; his best friends Allen and Lisa Verhaeghe; longtime friend Andy Stovold and his niece and nephews Alex, Tatiana and Phoenix. He was predeceased by his father Robert, mother Joyce and sister Roberta Gibbs. The Celebration of Brian's Life will be held at his favourite place, the Husky Restaurant on 18th Street at the Trans-Canada Highway, on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Interment will be at the High Bluff Cemetery. Donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba, PO Box 20077, Brandon South Post Office, Brandon, MB R7A 6Y8.
