On June 2, 2017, Thomas “Tiny” James Leonard Jardine passed away, at the age of 79. He was born in Doaktown, New Brunswick on January 30, 1938. He is preceded in death by his wife Arleen Jardine. Tom is survived by his sons Darryl (Monika), Scott (Lili) and Rod (Carrie); grandchildren Thomas, Kathleen, Gabriel, Dylan and Bauer. Tom joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1957. He was stationed in CFB Baden–Soellingen, Germany and Gagetown, NB before finally be posted to CFB Shilo, MB, where he retired in 1988. Tom later served in the Canadian Commissionaires in Shilo, MB until 1993. Arleen and Tom’s home was always open to all. Many of their sons friends spent the night, ate at their table or spent the evenings watching TV or movies. Tom had a generous collection of records and movies that brought many friends over for entertainment. There was always room. Tom had a kind spirit and unwavering love for his wife, kids and grandkids. A graveside service will take place at the Rennie Cemetery, Rennie, MB June 29, 2017.
