Condolence: Bill was a friend, from school when he and Jaye were team mates, through work for the Federal Government (so belonging to the same union although working at different places) and just through the community where we always stopped for a chat when we met somewhere. We were saddened to hear of his passing.

Condolence: Dear Brad, Aaron and Jaime-Lynn, We were so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Bill will be greatly missed by all of you, as well as by the myriad of friends he has made over the years. Bill was a great friend and neighbour and we will cherish the memories. He could always be counted on to lend a hand and a word of 'advice'. Paul was so glad to have visited with him in the hospital where they reminisced over days spent as neighbours. Blessings to you all and may you be supported by your happy memories. With love, Paul and Jean Curtis

Condolence From: Lawrence Ruddick
Condolence: My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this troubled time. I have fond memories of Bill on the ball field as a player and later as an umpire. I specifically remember him ejecting me from three games in succession as he claimed I was a slow learner LOL. Many years later I had the opportunity to use the same phrase on him when he brought his fastball umpire skills to the baseball diamond. Lets just say that 90 foot base paths and games lasting up to three hours were not his friends. He was always very supportive of his fellow officials and the strongest advocate of fair play that I ever had the pleasure of officiating with. Rest easy "Blue". Till we meet again.Razor

Condolence: It saddens us so to hear of Bill"s passing. We realize he had a long hard struggle for the last year or so. We played on the same volleyball team at Elton Collegiate as well as on the Moore Park fastball team. He was a real team player and ended up being one of the most accomplished & sought after fast ball umps in Manitoba. Our condolences to the White family. Our thoughts & prayers are with you.
