Obituary for Linda Fraser

Linda  Fraser
On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, with her family by her side, Sarah "Linda" Fraser, age 74 years, went to be with her Lord and Saviour. Linda was born October 5, 1942 in Portage la Prairie, and graduated from high school in 1959. Prior to marriage, she worked at the CIBC in Portage la Prairie and following her marriage to Keith Fraser in 1965, she transferred to a branch in Brandon. After raising their children, Linda returned to work fulltime at Scotiabank from 1981-1986. Following Keith's accident in 1986, she resigned fulltime employment, and as a team they did yard care and maintenance work. When not working Linda enjoyed sewing, needlework, gardening and travelling. Remaining to cherish Linda's memory are her husband Keith of 51 years; children Darlene (Tim) Croker, Dianne (Daryl) Beswitherick, Joe (Paula) Fraser; grandchildren Ben Croker (fiancee Krista Braun), Candice (Daniel) Van Damme, Micah Croker, Kayleigh Croker, Destiny Croker; great-grandchildren Alissa Janz, Lexi Van Damme. She was predeceased by her parents Joe (1952) and Anne Crewson (2012); parents-in-law Alvin (1983) and Elaine Fraser (1984) and brother-in-law David Fraser (2000). The Funeral Service took place at Faith Fellowship Baptist Church on Monday, December 5, 2016. Pastor Dan Cavey officiated. Pallbearers were Ben Croker and fiancee Krista Braun, Daniel and Candice Van Damme, Micah Croker, Kayleigh Croker and Destiny Croker. Linda was laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Brandon Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
