ISFELD: Eleanor Elsie Isfeld passed away at her home on November 27, 2008. She was born on August 7, 1941 in Brandon, Manitoba and grew up and spent most of her life in Brandon. Eleanor spent a number of years active in Girl Guides of Canada and worked at the School of Nursing until her retirement in 2002. She was extremely proud of and thoroughly enjoyed the time she was able to spent with her grandchildren. Eleanor leaves to mourn; her daughter Karen (Terry) Erskine, son Tim (Meloni) Isfeld both of Brandon and her four grandchildren; Taylor and Trent Erskine, Samuel and Danielle Isfeld. She is also survived by; her brother, Ron (Lorraine) Hackenschmidt of Alexander and sister-in-law, Lois (Dale) Colquhoun of Brandon as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by; her parents, Jack and Freda Hackenschmidt and brother, Bob Hackenschmidt. A graveside service will be held at the Rosewood Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Ted Jannuska of Redeemer Lutheran Church will officiate.
